Pickleball

We have 12 lighted pickleball courts for our members and their guests. All courts are in the upper area.

Reservations are not required for pickleball courts, however they are recommended to ensure a court is available for you. Reservations can be made on the (https://www.mycourtapp.com/) 72 hours prior to your desired time slot, and each household is limited to eight guests. Please call (949) 586-0860 x25 or email (mailto:proshop@lf2.org) to be added to the database before you book your first appointment. The Clubhouse opens at 8:00 a.m. every day of the week. Each homeowner can reserve one court a day. No concurrent or back-to-back reservations permitted.

PICKLEBALL GUEST POLICY:

Daily Pass : Guests must be signed in and accompanied by a Club Member, and the $7 guest fee paid before playing pickleball.

Open Play Hours for Pickleball are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to about 12:00 p.m., and Monday and Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Members and their guests can come and play in a rotating format during Open Play. Limited reservations are available on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Sunday mornings. Please see the maps below for Pickleball Court assignments during Open Play.

We’re thrilled to announce that the ERNE machine is now ready for use! This exciting addition will take your pickleball practice to the next level.

Key Highlights:

Available exclusively during reserved play hours .

The ERNE machine requires two adjacent courts for use due to ball movement.

Note: Adjacent courts must not have barriers like fences between them. For example, courts 2 and 3 (which are divided by a fence) will not work for ERNE play.

Payments must be made using the Square QR codes on the flyers LOCATED at the Pro Shop —no cash will be accepted.

Clinics:

Beginner – LEARN TO PLAY! Focus will be on basic rules, scoring plus skill development and footwork.

Intermediate – Focus will be on ball control, stroke mechanics, shot selection, shot placement and court positioning.

Advanced – Focus will be real time on court drills and strategies such as blocking/resetting, lobbing/defending the lob, reading the flight of the ball, how and when to attack, poaching/stacking, moving as a unit and identifying your opponents strengths and weaknesses.

Lessons:

Private, semi-private and group lessons are available for all ages and skill levels.

Lessons are a great way to fine tune, improve and become more confident in your complete Pickleball game. Every lesson, with Kevin or Shelly is designed to meet the individual needs of each participant. Drills and instruction will be tailored to improve specific targeted areas of your game identified by your request or can also be assessed through instructor observation. Often, it only takes a few small changes to create a big difference in your game to enable a more successful and positive outcome every time you play.
