Outdoor Parties

Outdoor Party (Not Available on Holiday Weekends):

Lake Forest II members bringing a group to the Club that includes more than 8 non-member guests are required to make a reservation at least 3 days in advance. Outdoor Parties may be scheduled year-round, except on holiday weekends.

For member safety and comfort, Board policy permits up to 25 guests for an Outdoor Party during June, July, and August, and up to 50 during the rest of the year. Parties in a given day will be scheduled so that no two parties will begin at the same time so as not to overwhelm the lobby area. Your party can be scheduled for up to 4 hours, with an additional hour for setup and cleanup.

Steps to schedule an Outdoor Party:

• Please first contact the Calendar Coordinator to check that your date and time are available, and to be added to the calendar. You can reach them at (949) 586-0860 x20 or (mailto:rentals@lf2.org).
• Once you have been added to the calendar, a $20 deposit will ensure your spot. The $20 is nonrefundable, but will be deducted from the balance due for your guests.
• The balance and the completed list of guests (pages 3 &4) must be submitted to the Front Desk 72 hours prior to your scheduled party.

Outdoor Party reservations are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Especially during the summer months, dates fill up weeks in advance. You will be reserving a date and time, but not any particular areas or facilities (tables, etc.). All areas are first-come, first-serve, and could fill up on a busy day. Paperwork and final payment must be turned in 3 days before your party is scheduled or it will be removed from the calendar.

You are permitted to bring alcohol in for outdoor parties, however, we do not allow glass. All parties must be cleared by 8:00 p.m., and no amplified music or sound is permitted.

There are 8 barbecues on site, 2 large and 6 smaller.
